Under the hood is a carefully built, clinician-reviewed map of diagnoses, methods of care, life experiences, and even feelings, so someone searching in their own words finds therapists who genuinely fit, not just whoever's nearby. We sweat these details so your right-fit clients actually reach you.
What we ask for

If you're pre-licensure, you list under your supervisor and carry a Counselor-in-Training badge, not a watered-down listing. Your supervisor gets an email showing exactly what's published about them, with one click to take it down if they'd rather not. You can publish without a photo, too. The people looking for affordable care are often looking for you.

This site was made by one person: a product designer training as a counselor. Clinical decisions (like how the matching works) are reviewed and tested by licensed counselors and counselor educators before they go live. No investors to please, no ad networks to feed. We measure success by whether people find the right care, even when the best fit for them isn't on our site. If that's the kind of directory you'd want your name on, we'd love to have you.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost?
Nothing to join. Students, interns, and provisionally-licensed therapists never pay. Everyone else is free while we're growing, and if that changes it'll be a low-cost, pay-what-you-can scale you hear about before it happens. Anyone who joined during the invite-only pilot keeps their profile free for good.
How will I know it’s working?
Your dashboard shows how many people viewed your profile and how many reached out. Real numbers, counted by us, with no third-party trackers anywhere on the site. The same numbers ride along with the yearly check-in email, so you can see what your profile did before you confirm it.
Will people actually find me here?
Honest answer: we're small and growing, so we won't pretend there's a giant search engine behind us. But this is built from day one to be found the way people search now, including when someone asks an AI assistant to help them find a therapist. Honest, dated profiles are exactly what those systems tend to trust.
What if I already have a website?
Great, link it right on your profile. This complements your site rather than replacing it: someone who finds you here can go straight to your own words, and someone who already knows you can check whether you are taking clients without emailing to ask.
How does verification work?
A human opens your state board’s public license lookup, confirms your license, and records the date. Your profile shows clients when it was checked, so what they get is a fact with a date on it rather than a badge that could mean anything.
When does my profile go live?
After you publish it and we do a verification pass, usually 24 to 36 hours during the pilot. You can fill everything in and preview exactly what a client will see before you publish, so nothing goes up that you have not looked at first.
